Route A: 6 hours in Hiroshima
Fits: short stays, first-time visitors, solo travelers, couples. Budget: about 3,000-6,000 yen plus museum/admission choices.
Route B: 1 full day

Day 1: central Hiroshima
Peace Park, museum decision, Hondori lunch, Shukkeien or castle, okonomiyaki/nightlife with return plan.
Day 2: Miyajima
Check JMA and ferry status early, go to Miyajimaguchi, cross by ferry, visit Itsukushima Shrine, Omotesando, Daisho-in or Mount Misen, return before you are tired.
