Setup sequence

Bring or prepare
- Residence Card.

- Japanese address format and postal code.

- Landlord or management company contact.

- No Japanese phone number for SMS verification.
- No registered address yet.
- Name order or spelling differs across documents.
- Gas opening requires appointment.
- Bank needs additional proof or Japanese support.
After address registration
Make a small address-update list: bank, mobile carrier, school/employer, city insurance/pension, immigration if relevant, utility companies, delivery services, credit card and clinic/pharmacy records.
